Healing my womb was not a linear journey.Â
Before I became a Womb Medicine Woman, I was an average woman struggling to feel good in my body.
On the surface it looked like everything was fine, but on the inside, I was emotionally and physically struggling. Emotionally, I was insecure, anxious, depressed, and had a negative mindset. Physically, I held shame for my chronic incontinence and frequent urination. No one knew what I was battling on the inside.
My womb healing journey began in 2018 when I left my life in corporate America to pursue an entrepreneurial path. Shortly after, I was invited to go on an Ayahuasca retreat in Ecuador.Â
I accepted the invitation and found myself in the Amazon jungle partaking in a sacred ceremony.Â
The medicine impacted me in an intense way, going straight for my uterus. It was the most painful experience ever. It felt like there was something really dark and heavy being removed from my womb.Â
I was still fairly unconscious at this time, and did not yet understand the significance of that moment.
In 2020, I started to have back-to-back dreams about my vagina and womb that were actually quite disturbing. I committed myself to connecting with my womb to find out what these dreams were all about.Â
Before the dreams, I was having all the symptoms indicative of fibroids, such as, heavy bleeding, lower back pain, prolonged bloating, anemia, and an enlarged abdominal area. I was lost as to how to resolve the issue, but more so, I lacked awareness about what I was experiencing in the first place.
The dreams continued even after I arrived in Oaxaca, and stopped when I started working with various female healers and keepers of the feminine mysteries. The divine timing of our meetings felt so perfect, and I intuitively felt that I had been guided to each of them for the sole purpose of healing my womb.
I was initiated onto the womb healing path and my apprenticeship began.Â
